While tuition and costs rise nationwide, APU consistently offers affordable rates without sacrificing the quality education you deserve. APU provides textbooks and ebooks at no charge to many students. Through our Transfer Credit Evaluation and Prior Learning Assessment services, you may be eligible to earn academic credit for previous education or training.

With monthly start dates, no set login times, and 8-week class formats, APU affords the flexibility and breadth of choice you need. No matter where you live or work, you and your famly can access APU’s quality education.

American Public University is part of American Public University System (APUS), which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org).

ACBSP-Accredited

All eligible programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (acbsp.org) in addition to the ACBSP Specialized accounting accreditation for the accounting programs. All 50 state accounting boards also recognize APU’s accounting courses.

Choose Your Program

Select your desired program from our 200+ degrees and certificates. If you are unsure which program is right for you, complete our form and an admissions representative will help you select the best fit for you.

Apply Online (15-25 Minutes)

There is no fee to submit our online admissions application. To receive the 5% tuition grant, select ALPFA or ALPFA Family Member under the Membership/Association under the Membership/Association category when you complete the application.

After you submit your application, an admissions representative will walk you through the steps you need to get started.

Classes begin September 7.
