Lowering your tuition cost per credit to $332.50 for undergraduate courses and $432.25 for master's and graduate certificate courses. If you are an active-duty service member or spouse/dependent, ask about eligibility for our military tuition grant.

While some colleges require entrance exams that can prevent from you starting your educational journey - we have lifted those barriers, so you can get started. Programs start monthly.
While tuition and costs rise nationwide, APU consistently offers affordable rates without sacrificing the quality education you deserve. APU provides ebooks at no charge to many students. Through our Transfer Credit Evaluation and Prior Learning Assessment services, you may be eligible to earn academic credit for previous education or training.
With monthly start dates, no set login times, and 8-week class formats, APU affords the flexibility and breadth of choice you need. No matter where you live or work, you and your famly can access APU’s quality education.
American Public University is part of American Public University System (APUS), which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org).
All eligible programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (acbsp.org) in addition to the ACBSP® Specialized accounting accreditation for the accounting programs. All 50 state accounting boards also recognize APU’s accounting courses.
