With this competency-based bachelor’s program, instead of attending classes, you’ll work with faculty subject matter experts who will help you translate your knowledge, skills, and abilities into academic achievement.
The Momentum™ online Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice offered by American Public University attracts professionals like you seeking advanced law enforcement education with a primary focus on criminology, investigations, law, and community relations.
A wide range of course offerings includes juvenile issues, origins of crime, criminal behavior, corrections and incarceration, investigative procedures and techniques, and forensics.
Our Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Momentum program offers the same relevant, accredited curriculum as the traditional program – the difference is how you learn the material. With Momentum, there are no general education classes to take, no directed assignment deadlines, and no worries about transferring credits.
How it Works
How do you learn without attending class? With American Public University Momentum programs, it starts with meeting your faculty mentor who helps you discover your strengths and guides you in creating your competency plan.
Your professors are your subject matter experts ready to share their knowledge in your field of study, to answer your individual questions about competency topics, and to provide feedback on your work.
You’ll continue to demonstrate mastery of one competency and move to the next until you complete your degree. There’s no waiting for the next term to start so you can move at your own pace.
Save Time and Money with Momentum
Momentum programs are priced at $2,500 per 16-week term, with all course materials included. The more competencies you complete each term, the more you can save on the total cost of your degree. Master at least 15 to 17 competencies each term to earn your bachelor’s degree in 4 terms.
Note: Momentum programs are currently not eligible for Federal Student Aid, military tuition assistance, or veterans education benefits. You will be asked to pay the $2,500/term rate with a credit card or check when you register for each term.
